Udupi: District has bagged three state-level awards for their outstanding performance in the local bodies.
Kundapur Taluk Panchayat has been awarded the Best Administrative Panchayat Award for the year 2022 – 23 under The Mahatma Gandhi NREGA Scheme, Hakladi Gram Panchayat for the Best Gram Panchayat Award and Varanga Gram Panchayat of Hebri Taluk has bagged the State level Award for the Best Gram Panchayat Award and Jala Sanjeevini Panchayat Award.
Kundapur Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Mahesh Kumar Holla, Assistant Director Rajesh, Hakladi Gram Panchayat President and Chetan Mogaveera, Panchayat Development Officer Chandra Billava participated in a function held at Tripura Vasini Palace Grounds in Bengaluru and received the award.
